Lantern Festival Extravaganza

You’re invited to our Lantern Festival Extravaganza hosted by the Vancouver Mandarin Learners Toastmasters Club!

Learn more about how Toastmasters can help improve your presentation and leadership skills. We are one of the only Toastmasters clubs in B.C. that operates our meetings completely in Mandarin. Our special event will feature classical and modern Chinese music performed on the guzheng, flute, and other musical instruments. Learn about the Lantern Festival and Chinese New Year traditions. Enjoy some traditional Chinese snacks while meeting club members and others with similar interests. This event will be presented in Chinese; English translations will be provided.

When: Saturday, February 8th, 2-4pm
Where: Room B (1st floor), Yaletown Roundhouse Community Centre
Who should attend: Anyone interested in learning Mandarin, improving their public speaking and leadership skills, and/or have an interest in Chinese culture. Mandarin and non-native speakers are welcome to attend.
