District Leader Applications & Nominations

As you may have heard, Districts 21 & 96 are merging into a new District 21 effective July 1, 2025. We have an important opportunity for you.
The District Leadership Committee (DLC) for the new District 21 is now looking to fill the following leadership positions in the merged District:
- Area Directors (Appointed by the District Director in D21 and Elected at the Area Council in D96).
- Division Directors
- Club Growth Director
- Program Quality Director and
- District Director.
The DLC is now accepting nominations/applications to serve for the 2025–2026 Toastmasters year.
If you are looking for opportunities to be of service and challenges that will take you to the next level, not only in Toastmasters but also in your professional development, consider volunteering to fill one of these roles.
Are you an energetic, enthusiastic person interested in serving the clubs and members in the new merged District 21? If you are, take the next step up and nominate yourself.
To be nominated, elected, and hold office, a member must meet the following requirements:
● A Member in good standing of a Toastmasters club that is in good standing in Districts 21 & 96..
● Meet the qualifications of the position – download the District Leaders Qualifications and Responsibilities
● Fill out and sign these four forms:
· District Leader Nominating Form
· District Leader Agreement and Release Statement and
Submit the above 4 forms to the DLC Chair, Carole Murphy, DTM PDD at mjcarol@telus.net no later than February 15.
This list of competencies that you can gain from these roles. Each of these roles may also count toward one year of leadership service for your Pathways DTM.
