We usually meet in the Parish Hall (take the stairs or elevator to the second floor and follow the signs to our meeting room). Please join us on Wednesday, January 23rd between 7PM to 9PM for our Golden Speakers Club Contest!

This is the first step for moving ahead toward to the International Speech Context to be held in Denver, Colorado, in August. 

The winner of our club contest will be representing the Golden Speakers at the next step, the Area 84 contest.

How does the contest work?

There will be two contests happening in the same meeting on Wednesday, January 23rd.

PART 1 - SPEECH CONTEST:

- Speech Contestants will be delivering a 5-7 min prepared speech.

PART 2 - SPEECH EVALUATION CONTEST:

- Speech Evaluation contestants will watch one prepared speech (delivered by a speech contest) and deliver their speech evaluation over a 2-3 minute speech evaluation.

Contestants participating in both contests will be judged by participating voting judges. 

Our Club Contest event is open to the general public as well as other follow Toastmasters Club Members, family & friends. 

We are located at 3605 Gilmore Way (1st Floor in the Community Room), Burnaby, BC, V5G 4X5. Parking is free at that time located along the back of the building as well as paid parking available on Gilmore Way in front of the building.
