Program Agenda includes speeches scheduled by Jim Mann and Gordon Walter plus a Feature Workshop hosted by Maureen McBeath DTM, who will moderate a panel discussion on how to complete a successful High-Performance Leadership ( HPL) project via Zoom conferencing.

The HPL, or High Performance Leadership project, has been a high bar to reach for in Toastmasters on the path to completing a DTM award for many years and has been both an exciting challenge to reach for and an intimidating standard to uphold. Now our socially distanced environment adds another level of hesitation to taking that next step in our leadership journey.

Maureen McBeath, DTM will facilitate a panel discussion: How to Complete HPL Online on Zoom. Everyone can gain some insight, whether you have completed an HPL previously using in-person meetings or are looking at a required project in your Pathways education path with trepidation and are looking for guidance while formulating your plan to get started. This workshop is not to be missed.

If you are completing your traditional education program, or working on your Pathways Level 3 or 4, and thinking about your HPL project, this workshop is for you.

Please make sure that you do go to the Eventbrite page for this month's meeting to confirm that you will be attending the meeting and to get the Zoom link to access the meeting space.  Eventbrite Link: https://allworkshophpl.eventbrite.ca

WORKSHOP "What is Your Philosophy" by Gordon Walter: Mindset Management often brings people to even deeper questions. Why? Because people often become aware of how many thoughts are archaic, at best. Some thoughts, told by your parents, no longer apply; you have developed beyond that. Some thoughts are merely absorbed media opinions or social conformity adopted.

Discarding these irrelevant/invalid/dysfunctional 'thoughts' can lead to deeper questioning. Great philosophers and philosophies help orient you to coherent models that have been debated and refined. They all have something to offer you in your efforts to advance your mind-set. Your challenge is "how to make your own blend" of these accumulations of enduring wisdom.

Light refreshments at break are provided. Members often go for lunch at Lonsdale Quay afterwards.
