Games Toastmasters Play – with Margaret Hope
Reinvigorate your meetings, your members and yourself in this workshop. You’ll have fun while participating and you’ll leave with lasting treasures:
· creative ways to ignite your club meetings – think themes and schemes!
· skill-builders you can use to strengthen member skills – unexpectedly entertaining
· quick ways to grow your own skills, particularly creativity, vocabulary, listening and expressiveness
· some burbling, gurgling, impossible-to-suppress laughter
WEAR A HAT, BRING A PROP, or USE A FUN ZOOM BACKGROUND: On February 19th - Wear Your Intentions: Don’t come empty handed (or empty headed.) What was the best themed meeting you’ve attended? Dig out the hat, the make-up, the fake moustache, the parrot you wore on your shoulder, the snake you draped round your neck or the clove of garlic you held to protect yourself from the vampires in adjacent Zoom boxes. We’re going to imagine themes that put the Pizzazz into Presentations and the Marvelous into Meetings. If you haven’t attended a themed meeting come and learn how to create this kind of fun.
Workshops, in general, are any of these: presentation, discussion with facilitation, longer speech, keynote speech, panel discussion, crafts, debate, speech with audience discussion. Many of these Workshops provide club members opportunities to tackle Pathways projects in Level 4 and Level 5 of any Path and DTM requirements.
