Time:  Arrive 10:00 am**, Meeting 10:15 am - 12:15 pm. 

Place: 151 W. Esplanade, North Vancouver (new location, ICBC head office)

Location: We are located in beautiful North Vancouver, one block north from the SeaBus, or walk through Lonsdale Quay Market up elevator to top level, around ICBC blue building to Esplanade. Note that there are two front doors at 151 West Esplanade. Use the eastern door, press the buzzer, and tell security you're there for Toastmasters. Sign in (you need a picture ID).

FREE weekend PARKING in ICBC lot only til mid-March.

WORKSHOP "What is Your Philosophy" by Gordon Walter: Mindset Management often brings people to even deeper questions. Why? Because people often become aware of how many thoughts are archaic, at best. Some thoughts, told by your parents, no longer apply; you have developed beyond that. Some thoughts are merely absorbed media opinions or social conformity adopted.

Discarding these irrelevant/invalid/dysfunctional 'thoughts' can lead to deeper questioning. Great philosophers and philosophies help orient you to coherent models that have been debated and refined. They all have something to offer you in your efforts to advance your mind-set. Your challenge is "how to make your own blend" of these accumulations of enduring wisdom.

Light refreshments at break are provided. Members often go for lunch at Lonsdale Quay afterwards.
