ADVANCED SPEAKERS CLUB / KLUB ('ASK')

Our first meeting of the year will be an in-person event.

Date:  Friday, January 26, 2024

Time:  Gather 6:45 pm for Meeting 7-9 pm (PST)

Place:  Live (in-person) at the Roundhouse Community Centre, 181 Roundhouse Mews (Yaletown), Vancouver, BC 

Cost:  $5.00 (payable in cash at the meeting door) to cover cost of refreshments.  Refreshments will be served.

Theme:  "The Merry Go Round"

Program:  Welcome to ASK’s first in-person Toastmasters meeting of 2024, where we embark on a captivating journey under the enchanting "Merry-Go-Round Carousel" theme. 

Like the vibrant horses that gracefully dance in a carousel, our speakers will take center stage, each with their unique tales of growth, inspiration, and transformation.  Fasten your seatbelts, hold on to your dreams, and let the merry-go-round of learning and self-discovery commence!

This will also be the Speech & Evaluation Contest practice for our club.

General Meeting Information: Usual monthly dinner meetings, planned by Co-chairs around unique themes in various locations in the greater Vancouver area, were curtailed between 2020 and 2023. During that time, ongoing online meetings attracted guests from around the world. We are now alternating between online meetings and some live meetings.
