ASK Toastmasters Invites you to join this marathon celebration in "Holidays Around the World" with
24-Hours of Toastmasters and Culture
DATE: Beginning Saturday, December 12 into Sunday, December 13, 2020
TIME: Beginning 12:00 am GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) with a club in Japan on its Sunday, December 13 ==>. which is actually 4:00 pm PST (Pacific Standard Time) on Saturday, December 12
ADDENDUM: ASK Toastmasters meeting will be 12:00 pm (noon) - 2:00 pm (Pacific Standard Time). Join in at 11:50 am (see District 96 Toastmasters.ca Events / Calendar on December 13)
MEETING DETAILS: Advanced Speakers Club (ASK) will be one of twelve Toastmasters clubs from around the world that will present a 24-hour marathon celebrating December holiday traditions. Each club will produce a 2-hour meeting segment and then hand off the meeting to the next club.
Meetings will start in Japan and end in Hawaii. Drop into the meeting any time – or challenge yourself to take in the whole marathon!
Which clubs will participate? What countries? Which holidays? The poster picture above lists the countries in this 24-hour meeting -- one for each 2 hours. Note Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) is 8 hours ahead of Vancouver, BC's Pacific Standard Time (PST) .. so subtract 8 hours to decide it you could potentially attend those. Register on EventBrite is required for Zoom link. 24 Hours of meetings start at 12 am GMT or 4 pm PST on Saturday, Dec. 12), continues through Vancouver 12-2 pm PST in Vancouver, then USA with Texas at 2-3 pm PST and ending in Hawaii at 3-4 pm PST.
