D96 Candidates Showcase

In accordance with Toastmasters International Board of Director guidelines published in the 2019-20 Online Annual District Council Meetings, District 96 will conduct a live Candidate Showcase session via Zoom, on Friday, April 23, 2021, from 7:00pm-8:30pm.

This event precedes the District Online Annual Council Meeting taking place April 24, 2021 starting at 9:00am. All candidates including Trio and Division Directors are invited to participate.

The purpose of the candidate showcase is to allow voting delegates the opportunity to hear from, and learn about each district candidate. Candidates will respond to questions and explain their vision for District 96, their positions, views and ideas to help improve our District.

All Presidents and VPs Education and District Executive Committee (DEC) members are encouraged to attend as your vote will determine the 2021-22 District Leadership team.

Showcase Process

All attendees should be respectful of others and join the meeting at least 10 minutes early, to avoid disruptions.

• During the showcase, our Panel Moderator will ask questions from the list provided by Toastmasters International as well as others possibly from the floor. Candidates will be asked to respond to a variety of questions as pertains to the office they are seeking.
• All attendees will be automatically muted during the showcase.
