District Council Meeting

We have a very important meeting coming up on Sunday, September 24, 2023 and your attendance and vote are critical.

Please register and join us to vote at the official District Council Meeting on Sunday, September 24, 2023. This meeting has the crucial purpose of receiving the District Council’s approval for the budget and to decide how many and which contests we will be holding this Toastmaster’s year as well as if we will be holding online or hybrid contests. Since the meeting is online, all members with a voting right need to attend the meeting to vote. Proxies are not permitted.

Each District Council member must cast their own vote. District Executive Committee members are entitled to one vote and may cast up to two additional votes as a Club President or Vice President Education. All other members of the District Council shall be limited to a maximum of two votes.

It is crucial that you register in advance in order to help the District meet the quorum.

Please note that proxies are not allowed at the virtual meeting. The vote on the Annual Budget and the upcoming contest season will take place during the meeting via an online vote.

Agenda, proposed budget and proposals will be sent out two weeks prior to the District Council meeting.
