Saturday Youth Leadership Workshop

In-person meetings

Champlain Heights Community Centre, Saturday 1 to 3pm, Youth Leadership Workshop

The workshops are structured for small group learning and are limited to 30 students between age 12 to 17. They are presented by experienced Toastmasters instructors and Gavel Club members. Meetings generally follow a format similar to that of a Toastmasters club meeting, with an announced agenda that includes practice in taking meeting roles, prepared and impromptu speeches. The 3 meetings in the Leadership I introduce the fundamental leadership skills: Effective Listening, Time Management, and Critical Thinking.
