Conference Team February Update

Have you been wondering what's happening with the conference?

February has been a busy month for the team. 

We are ramping up the promotion in order to reach the target registrations.  If you, or one of your club members hasn’t registered yet, the current price of $229 will last until end of February, then the weekend goes to $259. A-la-carte is now open. We have announced keynote speaker and education sessions, info on the website: http://annualconference.d96toastmasters.ca/. Details about ed sessions are coming in. Our prospective emcees are competing in contests, so we are waiting. Silent auction item collection – talk to your club members about donating services and/or unneeded but useful/fun items to support the conference. We have two new people on the sponsorship team who might be able to help with pickup. We have the wine auction licenses from the BC government. Working on getting the gaming license for the 50/50 draw.  Seymour Speakers will lead dancing on Friday night.  

We announced our keynote speaker Leah Goldstein at the February 15th TLI.

Expect to see emails from the district as details are finalized and we get closer to the weekend of April 17-19, 2020!
