District 96 Club Bingo - What you need to know
To support ALL clubs in achieving excellence, we have designed a game of Bingo Card for this Toastmaster Year 2021-2022. We encourage you to strategize with your club to see which squares your club will complete between now and December 31, 2021. Unlike a traditional Bingo card, you can choose any 5, 10, 15, 20 or 25 squares. We want to give all clubs the ability to participate and to win.
Let us spark some fun competitions in our District. Here is the information:
BONUS INCENTIVES:
- Clubs partake on a District Committee - If 75% of your club members partake on a District Committee, outside of your club, either as committee member or team lead position at the District level (doesn't have to be the same committee), then each will receive a TI cap.
This must be set up with Program Quality Director Lily Laverton by September 30, 3021
- For the club with the highest new member growth on the TI website by December 31, 2021, each member will receive a mini notebook and pen set.

(4) Encourage ALL members to participate in the contest: contestant, timer, ballot counter, judge, chief judge, chair, sgt@arms. Find test speaker from another club.
(5) Area Council Meeting: If unavailable send another club member to attend so each role is represented (3 people from your club must be in attendance to each meeting)
(6) Take a screenshot in August and another screenshot again when your club has received 20 additional Google reviews by Dec 31. Did you know Metro Speakers has 66 Google Reviews!
(7) Smedley Award (SA): Applications and payments for members with a join date between Aug 1 - Sept 30 must be received at World Headquarters or online no later than Sept 30. DETAILS:
To win BINGO, you club must:
- Complete any 5 squares and receive $20.00 in promotional materials or
- Complete any 10 squares and receive $20.00 in promotional materials plus $25.00 to choose from the TI store or
- Complete any 15 squares and receive $20.00 in promotional materials plus $50.00 to choose from the TI store or
- Complete any 20 squares and receive $20.00 in promotional materials plus $75.00 to choose from the TI store or
- Complete any 25 squares and receive $20.00 in promotional materials plus $125.00 to choose from the TI store plus bragging rights
A. To qualify, Club Officer list must be submitted to Toastmasters International and club must be in good standing with District 96 by December 31, 2021.
B. When your club completes a square, write in date & any other details. Feel free to colour the squares in upon completion and post a picture on District 96 Facebook Group.
C. Please provide the details of achievement.
D. Only one card per club.
E. Club Officer Training can be filled in for June, July or August 2021.
F. Subject to Budget approval by District Council at the District Council Meeting scheduled for September 18th, 2021. The District reserves the right to modify, postpone or cancel without notice.
G. It is suggested that the club Secretary manage the BINGO card.
H. Bingo card must be submitted to PQD Lily Laverton at: llaverton@gmail.com between January 1, 2022 and no later than January 15, 2022.
