Are you wanting to learn, practice or enhance the leadership skills that you can take out into your “real world”? This is a safe place to try new ideas, make mistakes, learn from them, and improve. Any one of these roles will provide a learning opportunity to help boost your planning, management, and communication skills.
We have a massive amount of opportunities for you to make a direct or indirect difference in people’s lives. Whether what you are interested in is listed below, or you have a fresh idea let’s talk!

RESEARCH
Do you like Research?
Looking for: 2 -5 people who will research companies that have 200+ employees within D96 documenting the location, contact information, industry etc.
Time commitment: 1 hours per week on average, or any chunk of time would be welcome
Looking for: 7 people, 1 from each Division who will research networking events (online or in-person), conferences, tradeshows, hiring events, where we can promote the benefits of Toastmasters
Time commitment: once a month
Looking for: 7 people, 1 person from each Division who will research location rental spaces. Due to the impacts of Covid, it is possible that some clubs may lose their meeting space. Let’s get in front of this, plus find locations where we can open a new community club as well as hold contests.
Time commitment: any chunk of time would be welcome
PROMOTING
Do you like: Connecting with companies?
Looking for: 2 – 5 people who will connect with decision makers of companies to sell the benefits of Toastmasters and how chartering a Toastmasters club could benefit their employees.
Time commitment: 1 hours per week on average
Do you like: Promoting?
Looking for: 7 people, 1 person from each Division who will attend tradeshows, symposiums and hiring events to promote the benefits of Toastmasters
Time commitment: As opportunities arise
NETWORKING
Do you like networking?
Looking for: 7 people, 1 person from each Division who will attend (online or in-person) events to promote the benefits of Toastmasters
Time commitment: As opportunities arise
DEMO TEAM
Do you like showcasing and selling Toastmasters?
Looking for: 21 people, 3 from each Division to work with Gene, Reg and Maher to host demo meetings with the intent to charter a new club.
Time commitment: As opportunities arise
SPONSORS or MENTOR
Do you like to share knowledge and generate interest and enthusiasm for Toastmasters?
Looking for: 50-100 people to work together in pairs to help charter, then ensure the new club is set up for success
Time commitment: to be determined
CLUB CARE TEAM
Care Representatives
Do you have: a serving heart, a caring attitude, an enthusiastic learner, a connecting voice, a patient nature, and a willingness to go the extra step?
Looking for 4 Care Representatives who will work together with the Area Directors and Club Presidents, and will provide support, resources, and encouragement to help clubs achieve its mission.
Time commitment: likely around 2 hours per week on average
Club Coaches
Do you like: to build rapport, instill enthusiasm, comradery and work with other Toastmasters to strive for excellence.
Looking for 40 – 80 people (yes you read that right folks) We have many clubs that are eligible for a club coach.
Time commitment: to be determined
YOUTH COMMITTEE
Do you wish you had the skills you have now when you were a child?
Looking for 14 people, 2 people from each division to work with Neila to host workshops consisting of eight one- to two-hour sessions that enable participants to develop communication and leadership skills through practical experience. Great opportunity to invite the kids and parents to your club for a informal evening.
