The smartest thing I have done as an Immigrant!

As a new Canadian immigrant, the smartest thing I did was to join Toastmasters.

It helped me tremendously to improve my English, meet marvelous people and hear some of the most interesting speeches.

At the first meeting (at VETC) I got the chance to hear Ladda and David speech. Got goose bumps all over and decided there and then to join.

And over the year I heard so many more amazing speeches and tips from people like Val, James Dean, Rakesh, Dustin, Harry, Tiffany and many, many others.

It was a joyful ride and hands down, the best decision I made.
